Matt and I took Karissa to her first Broadway play, Mary Poppins at the Ahmanson Theater. We went with my brother Matt, Beth and their girls. (Sorry we included ourselves in your Christmas gift.) The show was absolutely divine. We had great seats on the mezzanine level. The actress that plays Mary Poppins was brilliant and practically perfect in every way. What a treat.
Karissa did well. She was a little talkative during the first half. We all loved the show and can't wait to see another show soon. Karissa was a little bummed that she didn't get to meet the actors and take pictures like she get to do at the local productions we attend.
We managed to get one picture in before we were told not to take pictures inside. Stay tuned.
We ate at a really chic place downtown that we happened to find, Louie. It was great. And not too expensive. Great ambiance and extremely clean bathrooms. (Sorry my mom was always a fan of clean potties.) Sorry we missed a chance to eat at Phillipes. Next time.
