Tomorrow is my last day working for Rocky Mountaineer. It's been an incredible journey filled with a developed love for Western Canada and a luxurious train. This job has helped me provide extras for our children. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work for a company that values and believes in their employees.
We are anxiously anticipating the arrival of baby girl Kinnon in November.
I have to run. I just wanted to post a few Addi-isms I don't want to ever forget. Enjoy!
Addi- "Mom, do I have to see you have the baby?"
Me- an emphatic "No!"
Addi- "Good! That would just be disturving."
Me- "Girls, I really need you help. Please pick up your clothes off the floor and put them in the laundry. I can't bend over with this baby in my tummy!"
Addi- "Well, you can get on your knees!"
This gem happened last weekend. I listened to the entire conversation as I was cleaning my bedroom.
Addi- "Dad, you are in big trouble mister! You threw away my important paperwork from school. How dare you!"
Matt- "It wasn't me. I would never throw away your school work. It was Mom!"
Thanks for having my back Matt. Of course Addi marched right upstairs schoolwork in hand and proceeded to scold me.
Dang, I though our big trash cans we're a safe spot.
