Lunch with Pamela Anderson

While enjoying a Waldorf Salad with my friend Barbara at the CPK-ASAP in Westlake Village, I noticed a lady standing in the order line with really short white shorts on. I thought to myself, why would anyone wear shorts that short and then roll them up? Only Pamela Anderson. So after not trying to stare, I got a picture of her from behind with my friends cell phone. She was there for lunch with her kids. Barbara and I were cheking out all the patrons as they recognized her and the men had the best reactions. I must say, I have seen a lot of celebrities over the years around Westlake and this was the best yet. Nice lunching with you Pam!
P.S. Her chest really isn't that huge when you see her in person.

4 months old!

Our sweet love is 4 months old. My how time flies. Addison had her 4 month well-baby visit last week and is 13 lbs 11oz and 25 1/4 inches long. She is in the 65th-75th percentile for weight and height. Addi seems to rollover whenever Matt and I are not looking..she is sneaky. In the evenings she eats like a Barracuda. She is still and excellent sleeper when her sister isn't sneaking in to wake her up. Karissa loves to entertain Addi full-time. Addi laughs and smiles at her or blows raspberries. Just about everyday Karissa asks when Addison is going to talk. Oh, soon enough Miss Karissa. We only hope that she out talks you, so you can see just how it feels to be asked 3 million questions a day.

Bumbo Baby and WVMC Picnic

We can never take a picture of Addison without Karissa insisting on being in the picture. Addi is just minding her own business swinging away while grabbed onto the pole as a decoy. She loves to swing Addi really fast when Mom and Dad are not looking.
Addi in her Bumbo chair. These chairs are just too cool.
Addi just chills out on the counter while I make dinner or am doing dishes.
Kayley and Karissa at the West Valley Mom Connection Picnic. They made bracelets, watched Jumbo Shrimp Circus, got a Karate lesson and had their faces painted by Tinkerbell.
The Crew
The purple butterfly queens. I told Karissa that I loved the sparkles on her butterfly. She quickly corrected me, "No Mom, it's pixie dust!"

Yes, we made a character hold our infant. Actually she offered.

Disneyland

We couldn't hold out any longer...and well, our passes were about to expire. So, we were off to Disneyland for a weekend of fun. We arrived Friday evening, checked in to the Disneyland Hotel and headed to Main St. for the Fireworks.

The next morning, Matt, made reservations at the Plaza Inn at a 7am. We have never been able to get it together in time to open the park. Well, we did it. Here is the photo to prove that we were officially the first ones to arrive at the park. Matt was beside himself with excitement as we strolled down Main St.

After breakfast we jetted over to Fantasyland and promptly rode every ride twice. There were no lines and just a handful of people there. As we got off each ride, Karissa shouted, "Let's go again." We had no reason to deny her and enjoyed walking on to rides.

Addison's first official ride was Peter Pan, followed by Snow White, Dumbo, Casey Jr, Pinocchio, Mr. Toads Wild Ride, Tea Cups and Storybook land. She was pretty pooped after that and conked out in her stroller.

We rode as many rides as we could in the park and decided to head back to the hotel for a rest. Matt and I promised Karissa that she could go to the pool. We took a 4 hour nap. I jumped up at 5:30p and said, we're wasting time, let's go. We got ready and were off to finish what we started at Disneyland. We met up with my friend Carol, her husband and sister.

After riding a few more rides at Dland, we decided to head over to California Adventure to ride the new Toy Story Mania ride. The line was long, so I grabbed my baby swap pass and chilled with Addi while everyone else waited in line. By the time they got off the ride CA Adventure was closing. As we walked out of the park, we realized that we opened one park and closed another. Pretty good for the Kinnons - we always leave before the fireworks at 8:30pm. This was a historic trip indeed.

Family photo-op. Addison is 3.5 months old now.
Karissa smothering the characters. She takes up as much time as she can. Chip and "Gail" are one of her many favorites.
Addi slept through her first meeting with Minnie Mouse.
Here is the gang. Karissa was beside herself that Minnie was dressed as a Princess.

Addison's Blessing

Addison was blessed today at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Simi Valley by my brother Chad. The blessing was perfect. Thank you Chad! Addi was her usual relaxed self and didn't make a peep. Thank you to all that came!

Here is Addi with her Great-Grandpa, McEuen. Addison is wearing a blessing dress that some of my sisters wore as a baby, possibly even me.

Here is the Meyring family clan, well at least all the girls and my brother Chad, (next to Grandpa). Lookin' great everyone! Thanks Cate for taking the picture.
Here we are. Don't be surprised if this picture ends up as our Christmas card!
