How do you spell.....

Last week Karissa asked me how to spell Disneyland. I spelled it out, D-i-s-n-e-y-l-a-n-d.
"NO, Mom! It goes like this, M-i-c-k-e-y M-o-u-s-e!" Karissa shouted.
After far too long for the Kinnons, (our last visit was July 2009), it was time for us to visit our favorite Mouse.

Just before entering the castle there was a Mama Duck and her little chicks. Too sweet.
They even had their own security guard.
Addi ready to rock and roll as usual.

A quick look back to last summer.
They grow way too fast.
Karissa and Goofy. Addi would only come within 3 feet of any character with the exception of...
Minnie! Addi could have hugged her all day.
The wait to see Mickey was about 3 minutes. I've never seen the line that short. We didn't pass up a chance to have some one-on-one time with the Big Cheese.

Small World. Because of the light rain showers on Saturday we pretty much walked on to every ride. Some we went on several times. Like Big Thunder, Karissa's favorite. The only bummer was the Tea Cups, Alice in Wonderland and Matterhorn were closed due to the weather.
One of my favorite places to visit is Pooh's Corner Bakery. Mmmm. That Pooh bear makes the best cookies!
And we usually run into a few of Pooh's friends.
Karissa talked me into going on Splash Mountain. Because we had our rain gear ready we jumped on. Only the top of my head got a little wet. My scream down the big drop surprised me. Karissa was thrilled.

Ready for a Pirate Adventure.
The Jungle Cruise. For some reason Karissa calls this ride the Kazoo.
Because Karissa loves M.J., the Captain EO Tribute was a must. It was great with the exception of the theater rocking to the beat of the music. That got annoying real fast.

Oh and it was in 3D, the girls loved that.
The rest of our day was pretty much standard. We ate a quick dinner at the Plaza Inn. Then I utilized my favorite place, the Baby Center. The girls got changed for the evening in their PJ's with sweats over. That way when we made it to the car they were ready for bed. I had hoped this would ensure us a chance to see the fireworks. In typical Kinnon fashion, we watched the fireworks from the Tram and Parking Garage.
I love this place. We still have the other half of our tickets to use this month and go to
California Adventure Park. We can't wait.
